In the seemingly
idyllic town of Neptune, California, few teenagers have endured
a more difficult adolescence than Veronica Mars.
Her best friend Lily was brutally murdered, and her father lost
his job trying to find the killer. Her mother disappeared in mysterious
circumstances, and she was ostracised by her in-crowd friends. When
Veronica (Kristen Bell) was drugged and assaulted,
there weren't many people left to help her out. So what else could
she do but become a part-time private detective?
Having survived all the murder, fraud and backstabbing that seasons
one and two could throw at her, Veronica Mars is
back for a dramatic third run. Graduating to the exclusive Hearst
College, the schoolgirl-turned-sleuth has regained some of her old
friends but must prepare for more terrifying challenges ahead. Veronica
continues her on-off romance with Logan, while her father begins
an affair with a married woman. A serial rapist casts a shadow over
the freshmen's first term, with Veronica going undercover to find
the culprit. Working for the college paper allows her to put her
inquisitive nature to good use, and she soon finds that that the
campus is full of dark secrets.
Part OC, part Twin Peaks and part Scooby Doo, catch this fantastic,
compelling US import, new to Trouble!
