Prue, Piper and Phoebe are The Charmed Ones, brought together after the death of their Grandmother and are soon in the midst of a chilling, ancient prophecy. The girls realise that not only do they possess supernatural powers, but also come from a long line of powerful witches. And the three of them together will be the most powerful witchy clan of all!

Prue (Shannen Doherty), the oldest sister, develops the power of telekinesis and can move things with her mind. Piper (Holly Maire Combs), the middle child, receives the power to freeze molecules or stop time. Phoebe, (Alyssa Milano) the youngest sister, receives the passive power of premonition, which allows her to see future events. Together, The Charmed Ones use their supernatural abilities to battle the warlocks, demons and other evil forces that populate San Francisco, California.

Our story begins when Phoebe discovers an ancient leather-bound book - 'The Book of Shadows' - which soon becomes a bible for the girls, a guide showing them their destiny.
